We look forward to showing our properties to you and help you find your new home here in the Yucatan. To make it a positive experience, please call as soon as you know your arrival date. We need to have at least a two day notice, this will give us enough time to arrange all the appointments and to make sure that our schedule matches yours regarding showing time, price ranges, type of properties, etc.


We will be happy to pick you up at the Merida International airport or at your hotel or guesthouse and provide transportation to the listed properties. We also provide extensive consultation on closing, including referrals to legal and accounting advice as needed.

It is our policy to charge a small retainer for showing property. Our fee is $25 USD for a half-day and $50 USD each full day, plus gasoline expenses. This will be gladly refunded to you at closing.

If the seller is in agreement, we can hold your earnest money in escrow for you in the US. Our charge is $200.00 USD at closing, plus any bank fees charged on transfers in and out of the account.

We do our best to represent the properties accurately, but rely on information given to us by the seller. As AREA Yucatan cannot be responsible for any discrepancies or representations on the part of the Seller, please consult an engineer, accountant, lawyer or competent professional to verify information.
